For a sunset-focused alternative, reverse the day order only after checking that date’s sunset, entry cutoff and safe exit. The default Day 2 morning does not promise sunset. Older panoramas do not show the current observatory structure.

A short reed-boardwalk walk and the viewpoint climb are different choices. The climb includes slopes and steps; do not assume wheelchair access. The operator lists a new observatory completed in July 2025, so older images are historical.
| Adjust the walk to your arrival and train | Selected entry tickets · both dates / adult |
|---|---|
| Daytime + evening · adult ₩10,000 | ₩10,000 |
| From 17:00 · adult ₩5,000 | ₩5,000 |
| Wetland · daylight reed walk | ₩10,000 |
Ordinary tickets are valid on the purchase day only. An adult day ticket is ₩10,000; the ₩5,000 night ticket is sold 17:00–19:00 for 17:00–20:00 and excludes the Wetland. A second-date visit needs another ticket. Compare the official ₩12,000 city two-day pass, but confirm its night use and other conditions before choosing it.
SUNCHEON / LIGHT & SLOW WALKS
One night with one confirmed hotel for luggage. Day 1 is the National Garden; Day 2 is a daylight Wetland walk or more time in the Garden. Sunset photographs inspire an alternative, not a promise of after-dark Wetland access.
Times are editable planning allowances, not a timetable. Keep at least 120 minutes for the Day 2 visit, or 180 with the viewpoint. Opening notices and daylight take priority; the last Monday is omitted conservatively. Day1 is included only when the calculated garden entry is by18:00, a conservative planning margin before the official19:00 cutoff.
Leave the final Day 2 stop by: 15:40
Suncheon Station → confirmed hotel and luggage → National Garden. Next day: one daylight walk → same hotel for bags → Suncheon Station and your booked train.
The official route lists bus 66 from the stop across from Suncheon Station to the Garden East Gate; the Wetland is a separate stop about 7 km from the Garden. Check the live route, boarding side and return service. No fixed fare or last bus is assumed.
Leave luggage, reach the chosen Garden gate and explore a few areas slowly. A night-only ticket starts at 17:00; return to the hotel after the evening visit. Check food options before entering.
Check out and use agreed luggage storage. Make the selected daylight visit, then collect bags at the same hotel and return to Suncheon Station. Keep the meal near your actual route.
Confirm the same hotel accepts luggage before check-in and after check-out, including fees and collection deadline. Keep a small day bag. Station storage would change the route and is not substituted automatically.

Official information & photos ↗For October–June, the Garden lists 09:00–20:00 with last entry 19:00; check summer notices separately. Both sites list the last Monday as closed. Wetland November–February entry is 08:00–17:00, viewing until 18:00. Other seasons differ. Its operator warns that lights go out at closing and movement after dark is hazardous.

Three bases listed in city visitor material. Their location matters more than the name: the station, Jorye-dong and Ecochon require different transfers. Current rooms, rates, photo galleries and luggage acceptance have not all been independently verified; confirm directly before booking.
Station base for rail arrivals and easy luggage handling. The Garden and Wetland still need a bus or taxi transfer; confirm the booked room type.
