Fit the coast to your arrival and train
One night with bags at one confirmed hotel. Day1 is Jongpo/Hamel harbour; day2 is Odongdo OR a Jasan cable-car round trip, then the same hotel and Yeosu Expo Station. Do not assume a continuous coastal path to Odongdo.
Times are editable planning assumptions, not a timetable. Allow at least120min for Odongdo or150min for a cable-car visit including waiting. Late arrival or rain removes the harbour evening; early trains can remove day2 sightseeing. Check live operation and your walking pace. The calculator omits harbour arrivals after20:00 and targets an Odongdo exit by16:00 or a Jasan return by19:30. These conservative targets are not operator closing times.

Day1 arrival at Yeosu Expo Station
Use Yeosu Expo Station (여수엑스포역). Yeocheon Station and the intercity bus terminal are separate places. Match your issued ticket and check the live route; no fixed local fare or last-service connection is assumed.

Leave bags at the confirmed hotel. Choose a local meal and a short Jongpo/Hamel harbour walk; save the return to your hotel before going out.

Collect bags at the same hotel
Confirm the actual hotel accepts bags before check-in and after checkout, including charges and collection deadline. Keep both the stop→hotel and hotel→station journeys; storage is not guaranteed by a booking.
Check before booking
The operator lists adult standard cabins at ₩17,000 return or ₩14,000 one way; crystal cabins are ₩24,000 return. The Dolsan–Jasan crossing needs a return plan, and weather or maintenance can change operation.

This plan uses a round trip, not an assumed walk home after a one-way crossing. The operator lists09:30–21:30; check weather, maintenance, last boarding and the return queue on your date.
Official information & photos ↗The Yeosu maritime authority announced a494m second-stage coastal path from Citizen Tunnel parking to the Odongdo entrance, with construction starting in2026 and completion planned for the first half of2029. Do not infer an open continuous Jongpo/Hamel–Odongdo shore walk. Check today’s open route and use a separate bus/taxi transfer when needed.

It is not automatically added to this itinerary or budget, and a bad-weather choice removes the outdoor walk and cable car.
