A view, or a longer walk

Plan the permitted hermitage/waterfall viewing area first. The suspension bridge and a climb toward Gujeolsan summit are separate choices, subject to local access. Keep clear of slippery rock approaches and respect the worship space.

Before you go

Water flow can be low after dry weather. September 2026 council material reports parking/toilets and congestion; July material raised unfinished access-road issues. Recheck the actual approach and parking before driving; old claims of effortless access are not a current guarantee.

Getting there & returning

Regional gateway: Goseong-eup, Gyeongsangnam-do

The regional gateway and the attraction entrance are separate locations. Check the actual road or bus connection, walking section and return pickup for your date. A map pin does not guarantee a bus, parking space or accessible route.

Food & a place to stay

Regional planning base: Donghae-myeon or Goseong-eup, with a confirmed road connection

Use the named area as a search base. Check the provider’s current opening, menu, minimum portions, room type and cancellation terms. Allow a separate transfer when staying in town; these searches do not imply walking distance or an existing paid partnership.

Plan around your walking needs

Choose a viewing visit, steps or a summit hike deliberately. Check steep sections, return points, weather closures and transport before booking. Cave tickets, cable cars, temples and trails can have different operating rules.
