Choose your intercity ticket first, then connect the arrival point to your hotel or rental car. These illustrated routes cover the journey down and the return.
A practical combination: KTX + a car collected in Yeosu
Travel by train, collect the pre-booked car near Yeosu Expo Station, and return it to that same booked branch before your train home. This avoids driving the Seoul–Yeosu leg.

Choose the exact boarding station
Search Yongsan → Yeosu Expo on KORAIL or KORAIL+. Use Seoul Station only for a service that explicitly boards there.

Book and save your ticket
Enter your date and passengers; compare train time, fare and seat. Save the confirmation and check the station name on it.

Find your train and carriage
Use the station departure board for the platform, then match your train number, carriage and seat to the ticket.

Arrive, then collect the booked car
At Yeosu Expo, follow the branch instructions below or take a taxi/local bus to your hotel. Return your car before the booked train home.

On KOBUS choose a supported language, Central City (Seoul)/센트럴시티 as departure, and Yeosu/여수 as arrival.

Choose your departure and seat
Select the date, departure and seat grade. Before payment, check the fare and the displayed ticket-collection or mobile-ticket instructions.

Follow Central City / Honam signs
Reach Express Bus Terminal subway station on Line 3, 7 or 9, then follow the Central City/Honam signs and check the boarding platform.

Continue from Yeosu Bus Terminal
The photo shows the arrival terminal in Yeosu. Take a local bus or taxi from here to your hotel; book any rental pickup point separately.

Allow time for your Seoul-to-airport journey, airline check-in and security. Use the terminal and gate on your boarding pass.

After landing at RSU, collect checked bags and continue to the first-floor arrival area. Airport access time is additional to the flight.

Round trip: return to the same booked Seoul branch. One way to Yeosu: obtain the supplier’s advance approval and the complete extra-fee quote for your date/car/branch.

Check the live driving route
Enter the actual pickup address and your Yeosu hotel in NAVER Map. Compare the live driving estimate, rest stops, tolls, fuel and parking with the rail/flight alternatives.

Complete the agreed return
Return only to the branch confirmed in your reservation. Refuel as agreed, complete the vehicle/charge check and allow time for your onward transport.
Where exactly do I collect and return a car?
The following LOTTE branches are concrete examples from the operator’s official directory. Book the exact branch and follow its confirmation; other suppliers have their own meeting points.

The supplier locates its 1F counter left of Gate 2; the airport guide describes it opposite Arrivals. For LOTTE, the airport lists vehicle collection and return in front of Gate 2. Confirm the booked parking space with staff.

Reserve pickup AND return before travel
Choose Mainland, the pickup branch, dates/times and return branch on the official rental site. For train/flight round trips, select the same Yeosu branch for both. Save the confirmation and show it at handover.
Bring the originals
For LOTTE: original passport, valid original International Driving Permit accepted by the operator, original home-country licence, and reservation reference. Bring a credit card in the lead driver’s name and check your booking channel’s payment and driver/vehicle eligibility rules.
Before driving away
Check authorised drivers, insurance/CDW excess and exclusions, fuel level, existing damage and toll settlement. Photograph the car and fuel gauge, then confirm the return location and contact number.
Return to booked branch
Refuel to the agreed collection level → park in the confirmed return area → hand over keys and complete the fuel/condition check → settle charges and continue to your train/flight. Leave time for handover and the terminal transfer.
Confirm any key-box or after-hours arrangement with the branch before relying on it. A published key-box time does not by itself confirm that your booking qualifies.

From Yeosu Expo Station or Yeosu Bus Terminal, use the local bus/taxi connection for your hotel’s Korean address. At Yeosu Airport, the official guide places buses about 30 m right of arrival Gate 2 and taxis across the pedestrian crossing. Check the bus destination because services also run toward Suncheon.
